Who we are

TheOneStudio is an independent developer based in India. It is not a registered company. This policy covers this website and our mobile apps, including Intelligent PDF (iPDF Pro).

Our developer name on Google Play is TheOneStudio.

Your documents

Opening, editing, merging, converting and OCR-scanning your documents all happen on your device. The app does not upload your documents, images or extracted text to us, and we do not run servers that receive them. The app uses the internet to show ads, and the first time you use the document scanner, Google Play services may download the scanner module. Scanned pages stay on your device.

Permissions the app asks for

• Storage (Android 12 and below only): lets you browse PDFs on your device. On Android 13 and newer the app opens files through the system file picker and needs no storage permission.
• Internet and network state: used by the ad SDK to load ads.
• Advertising ID and ad measurement permissions: used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads. You can reset your advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization in Android settings.
• Technical permissions (such as wake lock) added by libraries we use; the app does not use them for anything else.

The app does not request camera, location, contacts, microphone or notification permissions.

Advertising and third-party services

The app shows banner ads from Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising ID, IP address (approximate location), device and app information, and ad interaction and diagnostic data to serve, measure and secure ads. We do not give AdMob any content from your documents. See Google's privacy policy for how Google uses this data.

We do not add our own analytics or crash-reporting tools. Google's software in the app (AdMob, ML Kit, Google Play services) may send technical diagnostic and usage information to Google, as described in Google's policies.

These providers have their own privacy policies, which apply to the data they collect.

This website

This website is a static site. It does not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. The free PDF, Word and image tools on this website process your files in your browser; your files are not uploaded. Anything you type, draw, upload or add in these tools, including text, form entries, signatures, initials and images, stays in your browser and is not saved or sent anywhere. When you compress an image, it is saved again in your browser without its camera details, such as a GPS location, unless you choose to keep them. The fonts these tools use, including the handwriting fonts for typed signatures, are loaded from this website itself, only when they are needed. Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and reliability.

If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write, and we use it only to reply to you.

Children

The app is not directed at children and is intended for users 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
