Merge PDF files
Combine PDF files and JPG or PNG images into one document, in the order you choose. It runs in your browser, so your files are not uploaded.
Processed in your browser. Your files are not uploaded.
How it works
- Add two or more files: PDFs, JPG images or PNG images, mixed if you like.
- Use the up and down buttons to put them in the order you want.
- Select Merge files.
- Download the merged PDF.
What this does and doesn't do
- What it does
- Puts the files in one PDF in the order shown. Every page of a PDF is copied across, and each image becomes one page sized to fit that image.
- What it doesn't do
- It does not shrink the pictures or the result, and it does not keep bookmarks or form data from the separate files. Password-protected PDFs have to be unlocked first. Your original files are never changed.
Questions about this tool
Are my files uploaded when I merge them?
No. Merge PDF runs in your browser, on your own device. Your files are read and changed there, and never sent to our servers or to anyone else's.
What happens to my data?
Your PDFs and images, and the merged file stay in your browser's memory while you work and are gone when you close or refresh the page. We do not save them, and this site uses no analytics or advertising cookies. Our host may keep ordinary server logs of page visits, which never include your files.
Is there a file size limit?
We do not set one. The work is done in your device's memory, so very large files can be slow or fail, especially on a phone. Every file you add is held in memory at the same time, so a big set adds up. The page warns you above 50 MB for one file or 200 MB in total, and you can still carry on.
Does it change my original file?
No. You download a new file, and the original on your device is left exactly as it was.
